Are Joan Claire original designs?
Yes, all Joan Claire's art is original.
Each wall hanging is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece of art. designed and sewn entirely by Joan Claire herself.
Her wreaths are also individually unique although similar in style.
Wall switch plates while unique and designed by Joan Claire, are not necessarily one-of-a-kind, but are limited in number. Most designs are limited to not more than 6/size.
Can I have a custom made wreath?
You may request a wreath in a particular color and tell her your preferences, but the design will be left up Joan Claire.
What about wall hangings? Can they be requested?
Joan Claire will entertain your colors and preferences, but the design will be left to her. You are not obligated to purchase any piece of art even if you collaborated with Joan Claire.
How long will it take to get my customized wreath or wall hanging?
A wreath can usually be ready in 7-10 days.
A wall hanging will take 2 or more months. Many variables go into a wall hanging. The design and implementation comes from inspiration/imagination for which there is no specific time frame. Once Joan Claire gets an idea for a design, the challenge becomes finding the best way to express that idea using the many fabrics and materials on hand. The design dictates the overall size. That said, a custom wall hanging can be made only in an approximately requested size and the time frame cannot be specific. As the work progresses, it becomes easier to anticipate a completed time.
Can I provide the material/fabric for my wall switches to Joan Claire?
Not all fabric is suitable for switch plate covers. However, most cotton material can be used and Joan Claire will gladly use your fabric if she can. You may contact her to discuss your needs.
My artwork be shipped UPS or FedEx or regular postal mail?

Not at this time.
